Handmade Fabric Hot Water Bottle Cosies by Cosy CosiesHot Water Bottle Cosies

Keep your hot water bottle and your toes cosy for longer with a lovely padded hot water bottle cover in soft cotton and luxurious cotton velvet. My covers are made to fit a standard sized bottle.

The problem with your typical hot water bottle is that it runs hot and fast. When you first put it in your bed it's too hot and you risk burning your tootsies. Then a scant couple of hours later it's lukewarm and no comfort at all. With a Cosy Cosies Hot Water Bottle Cosy, the problem is solved. This slows down heat release ensuring that the bottle isn't too hot and keeps warming the bed nicely for many hours. And it's beautiful too. Sorted.

Who invented the Tea Cosy?

One popular theory goes that an Irish farmer in reaching across the dinner table accidentally dropped his hat from his head onto the teapot. When he later removed the hat he found that the tea was still nice and hot. His wife then decided to knit a purpose-made tea 'hat' for the pot, and she called this hat a 'cosy'.
